The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the closure of childcare facilities across the country. Mothers are now facing increased pressure to juggle work and childcare, and kids are lacking the support and attention they need to thrive. Children First Canada is joining the Prosperity Project in calling for a Canada-wide early learning and childcare (ELCC) system to address the needs of working families.
