Children First Canada Appoints Three New Board Members

Calgary, November 1, 2021 – Children First Canada (CFC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Abid Dobani, Alice Fang and Sean Sutherland to the CFC Board of Directors.

Abid Dobani is a senior executive in the finance industry with 20 years of global capital markets experience. He currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Management, Execution and Strategy, for the Royal Bank of Canada’s Corporate Treasury in Toronto. He and his wife Farah (a developmental clinical psychologist) are passionate advocates for accessible children’s mental health services.

Alice Fang is a tenured wealth and asset management professional, driving multiple dimensions of client experience and investment excellence. Based in Toronto, she is President & CEO of NT Global Advisors, Inc. and Head of Northern Trust Asset Management in Canada.

Sean Sutherland is based in Calgary and serves as Senior Litigation Associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP. Prior to his legal career, he held various leadership positions in youth politics. He continues to be an advocate for youth civic engagement.

The CFC Board of Directors includes individuals from various sectors who are committed to improving the state of childhood in Canada. Each board member plays an important role in advocating for the well-being of children and youth, and advancing CFC’s mission to make Canada the best place in the world for kids to grow up.©
